Ladies please enjoy my PINK SATURDAY
post. Also please go to howsweetthesound.typepad.com at Beverlys blog to see the list of more Pink Saturday participants! Beverly is a wonderful hostess and has a lovely blog!
The story behind my post....My Godmother Frannie has breast cancer, this is her second go around...she remains strong, has FAITH in herself and a HOPE for a CURE for all. When her battle began I was at a loss for words so I wrote her a poem and made her a doll! She is truly inspiring to me.
"FAITHFUL FRANNIE"
She is full of HOPE,
Hug her when
It's hard to cope!
Faith in self and
In finding a cure
Can make all this
Less to endure!
When everyone saw her doll as she went to all the Chemos and hospital stays with Frannie I had requests for more! I started to make more, one of my favorites was a special request for a "Bald is Beautiful" that had no hair. I am currently making them and giving all my profits to our local charter for Breast Cancer. Each one is made with alot of love, has a tag with the poem attached,
is signed and dated and if requested has a special note to the recipient.
Thanks for joining me today,I hope you have enjoyed my Faithful Frannie post and girls please join me in a HOPE for the cure. Let us all have FAITH that someday no woman shall face this pain!
