LADIES.....I HAVE JOINED THE ARMY

Ladies Happy Blue Monday to you all!
I hope you all will stop over at Smiling Sallys for a list of all the BLUE MONDAY participants to join in viewing their Blue Monday Post!
And since I brought up joining I might as well tell you I have joined the ARMY!
I will surely in my HEART be flying HIGH in the BIG BLUE SKY>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Can't you see me now? Pink Fatigues....saluting the troops as they go running by.....
Pink Fatigues? Troops Running by?
Yep.....Actually the ARMY I have joined is the ARMY of WOMEN.
I have volunteered to be a part of the crew at the 2009 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Chicago!
You know how strongly I feel about cause!
I want to be able to hopefully someday tell my Grandaughters that I fought the WAR on BREAST CANCER...and WE WON!
So girls...if you want to ...Save the Ta-Tas too....please click on this ARMY of WOMEN and it will take you to http://armyofwomen.org where you can join the Army too,and please stop back here...and let me know YOU are an ARMY BUDDIE!

  1. What a commitment. My friend Ellen participated in this 2 years ago and she said it was wonderful. Have you received your package yet from my give away? I was thinking it should arrive by today. Let me know, I was going to post pics but I didn't want to ruin the surprise. Thanks. Pam

  4. I had to come over here after the comment you left with Mrs. Magpie. I warned her Annie should keep an eye on those blue rolling thingies. You have joined a good ARMY. Good for you. Does joining the crew mean you are walking or helping out?

She's not behind the plow (aka sewing machine),

She's wearing the green (oops, I mean pink),

    And looking real keen,

    She's in the army now!

Love to you on this Blue Monday, Lady Jane, and I just wanted to send lots and lots of bloggy love your way!

    Happy Blue Monday...

  15. Jane, methinks that Nebear and Helmi are after my bowls! Methinks I better post extra guards to keep watch with Annie. I'm putting the foxes on there to do recon, and the bears are going to guard the bowls. Annie is the captain in charge of the mission.

    XO,

    Sheila :-)
