Happy Blue Monday ladies! Today I want to share with you a beautiful Vintage Limoge Haviland China& Co. Tray . The stamped mark on the back says H&GCo. FRANCE- Haviland &Co. Limoges. The tray measures 12 3/4 inches by 8 1/2 inches. There are very delicate blue and brown flowers on it. I wish I knew the pattern it was called to share with you,but if anyone knows the pattern please let me know,as I want to list it in my ETSY store!
This delicate vintage piece does have a slight chip on the underside that is not visible when displayed. I have used it as a dresser tray! It is an outstanding piece of Antique limoge.

ReplyDeleteI'm not entirely sure what a limoges tray is used for, but I am entirely certain it wouldn't stand a chance around my place. Good that it has a home with you!
ReplyDeleteBy the by, have you ever met our own Kenju? You two would find lots to talk about I'd guess.
Kenju, meet Lady Jane.
Lady Jane, Kenju.
And now I'll leave you two to trade secrets of the uh... trade.
Pretty and really delicate tray. I could see it used on a ladies dressing table with all her pretties on display on the top.
ReplyDeleteThat's so elegant! I don't know the pattern name off the top of my head; not all were named and some were only numbers...eBay does have a visual resource you can click through & search...it almost looks like bachelor buttons but the pattern by that name looks different...LOVELY, named or unnamed!
