BLUE MONDAY...And George Washington????

Ok...so it is another BLUE MONDAY over at the blog of our friend SMILING SALLY...and here I finally show up....taking a minute from my little pink world
(yep...going to be a Grammy...with 100 % pink confirmation) with a BLUE MONDAY...George Washington post!
Now what does George Washington have to do with BLUE MONDAY? Well...This particular George Washington has been sitting on the studio workbench...waiting to be finished...he had hoped to appear in a blog for the 4th of July...well FINALLY...he had to get finished! Why did he have to get finished? Well...this Grammy to be needs space in her studio to work on PINK things...although the nursery is going to be Purple which is a form of BLUE!
Wait...there I go again...drifting off to dreaming of that Precious Pink Package.....
Back to George......I really love his Federal Blue topcoat...I should have taken a pic of the back of his coat...it has tails! And I am pretty pleased how his BLUE eyes came out...hmmmm....I have Blue eyes...will my Grandbaby have blue eyes?
See ladies...there goes this Grammy to be again...drifting off the post!
Ok...back to the post...I am going to set up at a French Market next month...George is ready...well almost...I have to get his shoes painted on....But before I go do that I want to visit some of the girls posted over at Sallys....click here...to go to see ALL the girls...and Sallys Beautiful Grandaughter.....
Did somebody say GRANDAUGHTER?????????????
Focus JANE...FOCUS!

  1. Although my mother had gorgeous blue eyes, I do not. However, my son has green/blue eyes and his wife has blue eyes. Two of their three girls have blue eyes, and one of them has the gorgeous deeeep blue color that my mom had. (sigh) Happy Blue Monday.

  2. Your George is a handsome blue fella, but I can certainly see why you're so obsessed with pink right now. That's pretty exciting news. Happy Blue (and Pink) Monday!

  6. What beautiful eyes George has. Have fun dressing that baby girl when she arrives. Mine are all dearly loved boys, but I so want a girl.

I doubt Lady Jane is paying any attention...she's floating on a happy cotton-candy-pink cloud these days!!! BAD case of grammy-itis!!!
